Become a LICMA SUPPORTING MEMBER in 2023!
Starting January, 2023 all LICMA membership will be one calendar year – from January 1st to December 31st 2023 – so now is the time to join “LICMA 2023”. The cost is the same, just $20 for the year – you can renew at a dance, print the membership form and mail it with a check, or renew on line with a small service charge. (click on the "membership" tab at the top of this page) Membership is critical to keeping LICMA alive. It costs the organization over $2000 every year to pay for things like insurance, the web site, mail box, phone, music license fees, the email service, and that is why membership is essential. Now is the time to become a supporting member for
“LICMA 2023”.
Admission Cost at Dances:
The entrance fee for everyone is $15.00.
Our History
The organization has been promoting country music and Country Dancing on Long Island for over thirty five years. A quarterly newsletter called the PONY EXPRESS keeps the membership informed of our upcoming dances and events, the locations of country western clubs, highlights on local bands, and feature articles from our members.
Our Mission
The Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of Country Music and Dance on Long Island and runs a dance each month from September through June featuring a live band, Dj, and Dance instruction.
