Inclement Weather Policy
- We will make a decision by 3:00 PM if it becomes necessary to cancel a dance because of bad weather. A message will be sent to everyone on the e-mail distribution list, a notice will be placed on the (LICMA.ORG) web site, and the message on the phone Hotline will be updated
Our History
The organization has been promoting country music and Country Dancing on Long Island for over thirty five years. Monthly email messages keep the membership informed of our upcoming dances and events, the locations of country western clubs, highlights on local bands, and feature articles from our members.
Our Mission
The Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of Country Music and Dance on Long Island and runs a dance each month from September through June featuring a live band, Dj, and Dance instruction.
